Catching Feelings in Hamilton
Friday night in Hamilton and things getting somewhat back to normal after covid rāhui (lockdown). Here’s Emilio, Reece and I just starting our first set with ‘Catching Feelings’ by Six60.
I play a variety of instruments but my core love is the bass guitar. I was originally inspired to play after watching Iron Maiden’s Live after Death video.

Here’s Something Funky recorded via GoPro at Keystone Bar and Restaurant. Since New Zealand went back to Covid-19 level 1 restrictions entertainers have been able to work in live venues once again.
After our major Covid-19 lockdown I got the call to play live music once again at Keystone Bar and Restaurant, Victoria street, Hamilton with Reece Gielen and Emilio Bonica-King.
Alex Maara on Drums, TJ on guitar and vocals and Brendon on bass playing together for the first time, doing it raw and live in front of an unsuspecting audience at House Bar in Hamilton.
What better way to celebrate Easter and Easter weekend than to hold a party, invite a bunch of friends and play music – that’s just what we did back in 2018.
