I workfull-time as a Senior Marketing Specialist at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is the largest indigenous tertiary education provider in Aotearoa and holds a unique space in the tertiary sector as a wānanga. Marketing specialists help develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels. The work includes researching the market, analyzing trends to help define the organization’s marketing strategy, and providing advice as to how to best reach the target market. My role, as a marketing specialist also help with the coordination of events specifically in the Mātauranga Māori space such as Matariki, Mahuru Māori, Waka Ama and Waitangi.
